How Too: Improve your WI-FI
I've been having issues with my upgraded Wi-Fi router again (nothing big just a sucky signal) due to my neighbor getting a frankly ridiculously over powered router of his own that for some reason seems to interfere with any signal my little router can throw out. Thanks to a little tinkering and a location change were good to go again.
Seriously watch this and check out the other wi-fi booster videos in previous how too's and you too can hace a 150m 3-4 bar wi-fi signal.

Hpw Too: Make a Cheap Multitouch Pad - MTmini
So what is it? i hear you cry, well its a dirt cheap touch pad for your PC (er basically) or to be more precise its a table interface for your comp until you can afford that fancy Table PC.
Now this guide is for the most simple and basic version using a piece of plate glass a cardboard box and a cheap web cam but if your willing to put in a little work and build a wooden black box and place a little plastic membrane over your paper touch pad you can make something truly amazing.
Remember folks this will function almost exactly the same as a touch pad on any normal Laptop's touch mouse, but if you tune in next week i'll try to get you a video how to on the visual tactile interface (the one where it looks like your touching the screen) but if your going to attempt that (incredibly difficult) build i suggest you try this one first.

For this to work, all you need is a room with (at least) some light. The results will be best when the room lighting is even (no bright lights shinning from one direction onto the multitouch pad).
When you place you fingers on the surface, shadows are created where your fingers are. The webcam sees these shadows and sends the image to the tracking software which tracks the shadows as they move across the paper.

Movie Night: Hellboy 2
Now its movie night again and due to the newness of the movie im not embedding it for legal reasons but if you follow the link at the bottom of this post you will be whisked away to the Hellboy 2 movie.I wont ruin the plot by blabbing but i should warn you that buffering for this film is depressingly slow none the less give it until the buffering is at about 2% and you should be fine.

damn i've been busy
What can i say, its been a tough week thus far, Free time has been at something of a premium to the point where i haven't been able to pick a non work related game for almost four full days.
This has put a bit of a crimp on my FF11 leveling and social interaction and for that i would like to apologize to everyone that i normally entertain with my various shenanigans for not being there.
This weeks How too will happen as soon as i finish up this work and family related gubbins as will a long overdue gaming session on FF11 with the suicide moogles.
Apart from that im afraid i got nothing so i had better get back to work, see ya later folks!
