to say i'm busy is something of an understatement, and oddly its nothing to do with MMO's or Warcraft in general. May rush has happened in the gaming community as this is generally the time we start seeing this summers hot new releases come in for previews and company's asking for tweaks or changes to previously completed advertising work.

so yea im up to my emerald green ass in paperwork so dont expect anyting amazing for a couple of weeks while i try to pull this around.

oh and yes i know its a Sunday, and yes im at work, and yes...it sucks.

oh well such is life, catch you all later.

Daily Blogg: WoW on ipod touch and iphone

As an ipod touch user and massive warcraft geek i gotta say i thought this had to be a fake...

...i may however be very very wrong

There were early rumours about the World of Warcraft (WOW) coming to iPhone but then nothing happened. This time, we have a video that seems more like a beta version of WOW running on the iPhone.

A combination of 11 million WOW gamers and more than 20 million iPhone units could mean that it could be quickly become one of the hottest iPhone games.

I was happily winding my way through Touch Arcade when I stumbled upon a video that shows the WOW game running on the iPhone. I am a huge fan of the game and have spent months behind this amazing game. The news that it’s coming on iPhone and iPod touch is enough to revive my damned sole and to go look for another worthy quest! To Arms!

The credible part to this story comes from the fact that the game is shown to be running on the Vollee client application.

Vollee develops software that enables PC game to be played on mobile devices; it does so by using the VolleeX engine, which converts the audio and video output into streaming video format. Hopefully meaning the bulk of the client will be on your home PC or on there server whith a minimal client package on your iphone or ipod touch.

The fact that Vollee is in partnership with Activision Blizzard, Makers of WOW who have announced support for iPhone and iPod touch makes this story even more convincing.

Daily Blogg: I R Officer

So yet again i have been neglecting my blog in order to feed my warcraft addiction. But it seems it has once again payed off as I an an officer in not one but two guilds!!!

My Mage Malaus has been promoted to Warlord in the Blessed guild and once again i'm placed in a point of authority in order to assist my peers. As always my little huntard remains firmly ensconced in Totem Tea Party helping to level nubs and have a laugh with engineering toys and trinks.

So why an i telling you all this? well as you know when i start raiding (and i assure you i WILL be raiding) updates will be mostly along the lines of "today we took down (insert boss here) and i got my (insert epic toy here)" during raid days.

I will be updating with my usual bits and pieces such as How too and once again i am in negotiations with AllUC.org to get movies night back on the blog legally.

Daily Blogg: Save a virtual seal day?

Yes the manic animal loving insanity that is P.E.T.A.2 has invaded Azeroth.

PETA spin off group the imaginatively named PETA2 are invading the world of warcraft all this week in a vein attempt to frustrate and harass players on the wisperwind (US) server in order to get the message across that clubbing baby seals is wrong...even virtual...baby...seals...

...i'm sorry i simply cant take this seriously, when this was announced over April fools i took it as a joke until i received emails form friend that actually plays on this server who had noted a significant amount of in game protesters killing the various quest givers that set you tasks related to the clubbing of these adorable little punching bags.

Ok we get it the plight of the Canadian Baby seal is a good cause and i understand that you want to get your message out but with players in Azeroth already doing ethically and morally apt tasks in game for 'D.E.H.T.A"(Druids for the Ethical and Humane Treatment of Animals) we honestly though that P.E.T.A's desire to harass gamers would be slated...

...oh and its a PVE realm so we cant even gank the nubs... oh well

How Too: Flash Memory Hard drive

A very quick how too this week as i'm a tad busy but as you can see this can make an excellent storage solution for all your memory related goodness as well as speeding up vista and giving yourself a compact and adaptable internal or external flash drive.

Im currently attempting to do this with four Sandisc cruzer micro 8GB flash drives (about £8 each in ASDA/Wallmart) and an old hub i had at home. This should give me a 32GB flash drive which i intend to use to speed up windows using ready boost.

now before i go just take into account that for about £30-£40 you can buy 32GB flash drives...

...128GB flash drive anybody? pointless i know considering for that kind of money you could buy a 500GB external Hard Drive but still the possibility is there.

anyway, have fun with this i know i will.
