Well im back, and i got my computer back YAY!!!
well kinda apparently i've been paying for this thing out of my wages for the last year and they are unable to keep it so under advice form a friend at work i turned up and requested my property back.


they were NOT happy, but complied with my request and graciously asked that i stay the hell out of there offices from now on and e-mail in my work in PDF and Rich Text format from now on....

....i dont care i have my computer back and by extension World of Warcraft. So im treating myself to a few hours play before attempting to deal with the whole hallmark holiday thing.

Yep i've been soliciting phat lewt and screwing with peoples sexuality in WoW again for it is that time of year. Rember folks nothing says i love you like a pile of gold and an epic mount in your postbox.

Daily Blogg: so yea im fired....

yep im fired, well kinda.
As of Thursday my services were no longer officially required "on the same scale" at my local newspaper (that due to legal reasons i am required to not mention by name...) and as such had to give up my shiny new computer and kick ass 36" LCD monitor and paper owned Notebook.

so im back home on my own laptop slowly turning my lap into the new tourist resort for under 30's as it pumps out heat at a rate comparable to the sun slowly cooking me as i post out my CV and portfolio to pretty much anyone who i think may want it.

Regardless i shall continue to keep you updated so long as this thing keeps running until i earn/save enough to get it repaired properly.

oh look my 20 mins of run time is almost up, that must mean my ball soup is done, catch you all later.

Daily Blogg: Not dead just sleeping

With this flu and with work on my back the blogg had to take a bit of a back seat lately. Contrary to popular belief i do have a real life and as such when illness strikes bad shit happens, a great example of this was a distinct inability to play bills or eat due to my unfortunate brush with the influenza virus and because of it my loss of ability to read or indeed lift my own body from the foetal position while it leaked disturbing coloured fluids from various orifices and left me crying like a baby.

Eight days later i find myself feeling a little better but in desperate need of funds, so im off to beg steal and borrow anything i can while in the office collecting ny back pay and request some reasonably well paying assignments.

i'll report in as soon as i know what the hell is happening and if i still have a job.

Daily Blogg: Bored, Tired and have the flu?

Yes I'm ill i have the flu and it f**king sucks. so reading and by extension writing has become something of a living hell at the moment.
OK so it sucks to be me at the moment but i will attempt to post a how too at some stage this week and find a nice quiet and dark film to upload on Saturday.
Until then i shall be hiding under my duvet wit a few gallons of water and enough vitamins and pain killers to keep an small army healthy for an extended period and perhaps just enough to keep me alive.

Daily Blogg: WotLK pauper epics trade in

Well as you all know i recently started playing warcrack again, and having finally reached Northrend and started looting the local mobs for "phat lewt" as usual this means giving up my shiny matching Tier epics and Burning crusade Raid weapons and healing gear and replacing them with frankly ridiculous looking tat honed from trash mobs that make my former epic gear look weak and pathetic in comparison despite looking like it was made by a half blind one armed troll with ADHD and a fetish for scrap metal and gaudy colours.

So its bye bye to my Pally Power Ranger and hello junk man V3.0.
As i look like i fell out of the scrapyard images of my current look are very few and far between but as soon as i mine the materials i need i will be making some new armor that hopefull wont make me appear as though i farmed my gear while i was AFK.

So long matching gear, you will be missed, maby i'll look this cool again in 10 levels...

How Too: USB iPod charger

There is nothing worse than your ipod running out of charge when your away from home or when you loose your charger so in the spirit of peace and music for all i give to you the HouseHold Hacker guide to a portable battery powered USB charger.

You will need:
1 5.1v zener diode
1 330-ohm resistor
1 9v battery connector
1 9v battery
solder and soldering iron
(you can get all of this at radio shack for about $5.00 US)

Instructions:
1. Solder the Zener diode to the left and right USB connector prongs.
2. Solder the black wire of the 9v connector to the left prong and the right wire to the resistor.
3. solder the other end of the resistor to the right prong.
4. Hook up battery and go to town.
