Daily Blogg: I haz a Halo pride!

So yea I was playing Halo3 on XBL it was double experience weekend & Griffball for the masses, how could I refuse? But after an hour or so i got a little bored and decided to hit the forums on my Piece of crap PC and check on my profile...

...after a short period of time i came across a thread titled "MLG cheats and Hackers" (or something to that effect) and decided to have a trademark rant on the subject, after much editing and a few reply's i got this wonderful reply from "sir killalot33" who after a rapid look at my profile seemed compelled to edit his post accordingly before i could compose an appropriate reply.

I was a somewhat chuffed at the rapid edit and (in later posts) apology for his blatant underestimating of the various posting gamers in that thread.
Just go's to show, the more you know the less of an idiot you look when you post.


Remember Kids practice safe forum flaming, after all you may get STD's or Stupid Twat Dissertation...

...and trust me, you dont want that.

Daily Blogg: Animooted anarchy!

Anybody who knows me knows im a big kid at heart and love my anime and cartoons (big hello to everybody on the 4chan /co/ board) so today because i have early access to the internets i decided to post this moment of insanity. Ladys and gents Spongebob meets Deathnote!

Microsoft Maintance on XBL on April 1st

So yea XBL is down and no surprisingly no this is not some twisted April fools gag from Micro$oft to frustrate and annoy its users but a somewhat badly timed and frustratingly useless revamp of the current buggs and glitches to introduce there new "anti cheating" system.

Massive changes im sure you would agree ...*cough*... but gobsmackingly huge gamer scores aside i couldn't care less about the whole gamer score thing as to be honest its nothing but a giant pointless dick waving contest, I mean its not like we can do anything with them now is it?

WARNING:
ok time to make this post useful and point out that any achievements earned during the maintenance cycle while XBL is down will be invalid and NOT count towards your Gamerscore.
Also not that during this time all the XBL forums and systems including XBL GamerTags will be non functional.

BTW for this interested i have recently gained access to a piece of crap computer and have got back on to Dominion WoW for short periods of time in the evenings, if you are on the Blizz server gimme a yell.

HAPPY IRISH EXCUSE TO DRINK DAY!

Today i should warn you i shall be somewhat incoherently drunk. Attempting to make any form of sense of this traditional binge drinking and gluttony is pointless and any real meaning will be lost in a river of green vomit.

well thats how it will be everywhere EXCEPT IRELAND!

Yes over here we drink to remember where we come from, we drink to forget what we have done to our country and reputation with the last 100 years of infighting and we drink simply because after all that soul searching we want to get totally pissed and try to get on with our families & friends after they get all emotional on us. The Irish have an unfortunate reputation for drunkenness and aggressive behavior and fighting, If you didn't already know this is almost all hyperbole and hearsay. Yes were a little bit ashamed of our worldwide reputation as drunken fighti'n midgets but lets be honest here despite our ability to drink ridiculous amounts of pretty much anything and come out the other side not only able to walk in a straight line but able to hold your own in a bar fight comfortably is something of an advantage when you consider that Ireland's biggest single export is (and always will be) our people.

Remember that today that one in every three people in the USA is a minimum of 5% Irish (yes we will screw a hole in the wall, thats what the booze is for) so feel free to go out in the full knowledge that one in every three people you come across fighting and drinking today is fully justified to do so as part of there heritage, the other two are just pale imitation and should be mocked and will be by the end of the day utterly regretting that last pint while there Irish blooded brothers & sisters continue to enhance there stupor.

So happy Irish drinking day everybody, but do me a favor before you start the insanity please at lest try to remember that this is a celebration of the life of a saint and that generations of us poor bastards despite our reputation have exported more poets, art and literature per person than any other country in the world.

Daily Blogg: Not quite dead yet!

Yes i am still here, however getting money out of people that don't exactly want to give it to me is proving somewhat difficult, who woulda thought?

It does seem however my weekly trips into the local library to be keeping the blogg alive if not exactly as polished as it once was. Fear thee not though loyal readers I shall blunder on and continue my ever pointless journey into the deepest and darkest depth's that the library filters will allow.

None the less the cash WILL be mine and soon i will have home access to the interwebs !

Library update: Rolling in his grave

This is a very sad and personal post for any and all D&D players, at the ripe age of 69 Gary "father of modern fantasy role play" Gygax failed his saving throw for the last time.

The creator of D&D and its various expansions and extended editions has been hailed as not only the father of modern dice based role play but by some as the grandfather of most modern MMORPG's. As we say goodbye however i would just like to say a solemn and heartfelt goodbye to a man who has provided both inspiration and decades of enjoyable gaming to us all.

Now as a celebration of his life and his most inspired creation (D&D) im throwing a 1st edition party at my place this weekend, minmaxing and LARPing will be frowned upon but understandable under the circumstances.

Bring some beer and a pointy hat, its going to be a long weekend.
